Why does Kalispell Need An Abortion Injury billboard?
For now, the abortion pill remains widely available through telehealth while litigation remains on hold as we wait for the FDA to complete its safety review. On October 7, they stated in a court-ordered update that it won’t release its final study until March of next year. What does that mean for Montana women and babies? If we look at DPHHS statistics from 2024, it means that nearly 900 abortions will take place in Montana between now and then. 900 lives lost! And what about the moms? Research done by the Ethics and Public Policy Center tells us that nearly 11% of women will experience a serious adverse event within 45 days of an abortion. From Montana Medicaid claims requested by Prolife Montana, we already know women are being seen in emergency rooms all across Montana for complications of abortions and nearly HALF of those claims were from Logan Health Medical Center in Kalispell/Whitefish. THAT is why Kalispell needs an abortion injury billboard like the ones shown here.
Kalispell residents have already started raising funds for a billboard in their area, but they need your help.
